Yi WANG is a professor from School of Building Services Science and Engineering, Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology, majoring in Built Environment and Energy Application Engineering. She is also the Executive Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory of Green Building in Western China.
With growing demand on the development of green building in China, she has been committed to the ventilation design and energy efficiency of industrial buildings all the time. Professor Wang is the leader of several projects, including the 13th Five-year Plan National Key R&D Program of China supported by Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China, National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, Key Program of National Natural Science Foundation of China, etc. So far, she has been in charge of 8 important projects at both national and provincial level, and has published about 110 academic papers, with 39 retrieved by SCI. She is the chief editor of the first Unified Standard for Energy Efficiency Design of Industrial Buildings (GB 51245-2017), and also the editor of two academic books. The number of authorized patents is 12 for Invention Patent and 30 for Utility Model Patent, respectively. In addition, she is the peer-reviewer of several well-known international and national academic journals and also the member of some professional association.
In consideration of her outstanding contribution, Professor Wang was selected for National Program for Ten Thousand Talent Plan and won the title of Young and Middle-aged Leading Talent of Science and Technology Innovation in 2018. She was also selected for the New Century Talents Project and awarded as Young and Middle-aged Experts with Outstanding Contributions in 2017. In 2018, she was awarded as the Chang Jiang Scholars supported by Chang Jiang Scholars Program. She won the 14th China Youth Science and Technology Award and was rewarded by the Special Government Allowances of the State Council.
